I did not do massive water change. But frankly speaking, the fries did not eat the bbs till they are about 1wk plus.

Bro, seems like the problem is the fries unable to attach parents body. Thus, you may lower water level. remove the black sponge. replace using age water instead of direct water and check yr water ph. Btw, yr male is very fertile. almost >90% hatchrate
