Its some achievement as its their first spawn. The fries look like they have developed some gill problem.

though the casualty seems very high, at least u got some on ur own efforts.

Bro, you have a nice pair! from fries hatch to 2 weeks old, whats yr feeding and waterchange regime? There abt 100 fries on the tile. Did you do a massive daily water change or didnt hatch bbs for the fries?

Thanks bro for sharing, very good pictures sharing on progress of growth of the discus fries.. btw there is no heater guard on ur heater, wouldnt the fries die if go near to it?

I did put in bbs but I noticed that a large number did not really attach to the parents. In fact only arounf 20++ were seen attaching. I did about 30% water change every day as I understand the new water consists of minerals that is beneficial to the growth of the fries.

I did not do massive water change. But frankly speaking, the fries did not eat the bbs till they are about 1wk plus.

Hey troutsalmonlove, thanks for your compliment.

Err.. Could i understand more by what do you mean by heater guard? I believe the heater inself has an inbuilt features that do not burn anything that comes near it?
