It really depends on a lot of factors... The biggest I have seen is probably about 10inch

haha....

These days really hard to see over 8 inches discus
Maybe Colin and Mr. Fireworks can conduct a class on this.

How I wish my fishes all over 8 inches
but just building castle in the air.

I am content what size they are now
Lucky I got friends who see it.

Wow !!! 10" , really a specimen to keep if still can get. Will be spectacular to have a school of giant DC swimming in a huge tank.

Guess genetic pattern plays a part in it as well. Some doesn't exceed 6" in size.

Thanks all for your input .

Can't wait to get my tank ready to start keeping them.

Nice evening to all.

Simon

The biggest discus I have ever seen in my entire life, at least a 10inch.
saw it at the owner's house...it was many many years ago.
until now, still cannot forget.
the closest anyone can raise such size would be Colin at around 8 inch plus.

Few years back at LCK when Colin were keeping discus I saw those really huge ones (abt 8 inch and up). I remember they were red melons and snakeskins.
