The TSR states min distance apart is 30 m? Many of us who had been to armour training will know the land rover commander will sometimes be much nearer. I happened to be in such safety rover before.

The captain in this case may really be inexperience. When contacted, commander will usually tell driver to reverse or quickly get out of the way.

At end of day, they will tell you the comms not working. Bionix driver didn't hear stop command.

The old method of training the amx crew lagi worse. The trainer is literally seated hanging in mid air beside the commander quarter. I have always marvel how I managed not witnessing any fatality during my 2 yrs NSF.

But really, when you are that kind of age, you usually dun think of safety stuff when you are doing them. It is only like now you think back "yeah, that could have happened to me too".

Ng EH said tell commander that doing some things are dangerous when you feel so? Well, you seriously don't know what you are saying. LOL.

How to have ZERO serious injuries and fatalities in active snd ns men?

Assign one foreign worker to each active or nsmen. If think is dangerous, tell "u go....". That is why generals and commanders zero injuries and fatalities.

Or, when u think it is dangerous, just shout "cannot la commander, dangerous u know? I cannot endanger my body of my life.

In the 90s there was a case of a helicopter pilot releasing the winch too early.

2 or 3 commandos preparing to rappel slipped and died.

All the staff including pilot n commandos were fit active regulars who are supposed to have most current or fresh memory of procedures.

If accidents can happen to them, let alone 20 yo NSF barely out of teens or reservists uncles.
