I did for my 522. using 4ft PP boards at bras bersah art friend, cheap and good.
1 whole pic is not able to cover fully and wont go in because of bracing at centre. so i bought and cut the PP boards to slightly less 2 ft to fit into the height of the tank. total i bought 3 pcs all cut to 2ft less a bit for height(or above the water level) measure the width , slightly less than 2 ft. i will cut the outer layer only so to easy to bent on the inner layer. bent already will be 2 ft less so u can insert into tank. then put both left and right side. so will be a gap at centre. then the centre cut the 3rd pp board to 4" longer than gap measured. then fill the gap at the centre with 2" each side overlapping. i use suction cups to hold. every corner. 8 cups on both sides. the center pc is held by the 2 side boards pressed. so far no issue for the 7mths i used. and later thrown away. better and not shiny so no reflection. |

Good contribution from Vitor regarding the back PP boards .
Would like to touch on something .... For the sucker best get those black colour can stick longer however costlier. For punching holes thru the pp board for the sucker to go thru , can buy those small leather holes puncher in hardware shop which cost about $3 to $5 . Easy and swift saving the hassle to burn screwdriver to melt thru . |
