Default food for dwarf cichlid frys

Anyone know where I can get decapsulated BBS eggs?

Or should I try Boon or Microworm? Where to buy?

I have used instant BBS by Ocean Nutrition, not bad.

Got mine from AquaEmpire. But I also see it at Nature Aquarium (opposite Thomson Medical)

C328 also sells. Can also try Interpret Liquifry 1 (fries of egg layers) then slowly move on the newly hatch BBS. Frozen daphnia also can be introduced when they're slightly larger.

I have some decap bbs eggs (got it online)...can spare u some if u need. As for frozen boon you can get in most lfs. Would prefer 'live' boon instead as fries never die from overeating them (only die from pollution from feeding too much). 'Live boon' can be purchased at SungeiTengah farm, Serangoon, Bedok, Tampines, CCKang etc. As for microworms, not sure any lfs sell them so its best to get from hobbyists and culture them.

BTW u never specified what type of cichlid fries...some can be big (CA), some can be very small (angelfish), etc.

Also can try out the other various food/s recommended by the above bros...i.e instant BBS (about $12 per bottle), liquidfry (more for very tiny fries), crushed pellets (survival rate lesser due to indigestion or ingredients unsuitability).

Hope it helps.

My concept (taught by a breeder shifu) is, when you have adult boon, you are bound to have baby boon.
Smaller fry will eat baby boon (plus infusoria), and bigger boon will be eaten by the parents.
As the fry progresses (their growth rate per day is amazingly fast), they will upgrade and be able to eat the bigger adult boon along with baby boon present.
