Usually I don't comment on sales and purchases but just some of my thoughts.
Every store offers different value propositions to their target consumers and there are many other factors other than just price. Some really offer much better service, good aftersales, delivery and others. When an item is priced higher at one outlet than the other, it doesn't explicitly mean that the outlet it ripping the consumers off. They may just have gotten it at a lower cost, due to reasons of less economies of scales or just simply less bargaining powers. Cheaper prices might not always mean that great a deal also. Some offer older stocks or otherwise. Yes, of course there are chances you can get some items that are cheap and good, but always be aware. You have to look around and decide for yourself. I do buy from online shops for the convenience (they deliver to your doorstep) and to get some items not readily available at local LFS. I tend to post this as sometimes some members might unknowingly make certain judgmental statements later. I have been burnt many times myself. When I started out, I bought a small palmful of riccia of $20 from a LFS. Must research and look around! |
