is resun 280 enough to power a 3ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft tank?
Hi bros and sis. was wondering if a resun 280 will be sufficient to cool a 3ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft tank to 25 degree running on a 2217?

Resun CL280 should be just nice, but I would recommend a bigger version for your 3ft for high efficiency. It may take longer time to cool down to 25C, which means more electricity. However higher wattage consumed by a bigger version, it should take a shorter time to cool. In long run, it is cheaper with a bigger version.

For my Teco RA240 working on my 2ftx1.3ftx1.3ft tank, the on time is 29mins and off time is roughly 75mins during this hot weather. Temperature is also set at 25°C. Power is 220W. So far so good.
