Aquazonic 3ft 4x39watt
hi peeps,
just want to check is this set of light consider T5HO? because i was quoted by the uncle that as long as it is 39watt then it is consider high output. but the label stated T5. so im pretty confuse here. is what he said correct? Thanks! |

for 3feet T5, yes, 39W means T5HO..
but even T5HO has varying efficiencies.. firstly, does yours has individual reflectors? individual reflectors reflect much more light and makes T5 much more efficient, and stronger.. secondly, does it has a good ballast? if you're not sure what ballast it uses, heres a simple test i can suggest, does it flicker alot or delay alot when you turn on the switch? a good eBallast turns on the lights very quickly without flicker when you switch it on.. however, even a good eballast goes down with age.. and thirdly, use a good light tube.. thats my 2cents worth, hope it helps, cheers bro! |

no prob bro.. btw, i read that 6500k is best for plants photosynthesis.. and 10000k is more for visual..
therefore i use a mix of the 2.. 2 tubes 6500k, and 2 tubes 10000k.. |
