Ha ha, well, I am "stay low" kind of guy since NS days and never like the spot light. But it is easier to read in an alphabatical order right?

Maybe just to clarify. As far as I know, this workshop is arranged mainly to educate fellow ranchu hobbyists on this hobby on having talk/seminar by ranchu breeder from oversea. The entrance fee we have to pay is not high and is used to buy refreshments and etc. I don't see anything wrong with that.

As for the sale of bbrs/junior tosai or any ranchu, it is up to the participants whether they want to buy or not. If you want to buy, you have to contact and work it out with the organiser. This kind of workshop/talk/seminar cum selling session is common and arranged many times among fish keeping hobby (like Bettas, Guppies, Dicus and etc) esp. if oversea breeders are involved. I don't see anything wrong with this either.

If you think that this workshop has ulterior motives and not worth participating, then dont join/come. Nobody can force you. But do get your facts right before you start to make noise.

BTW, the venue may not be at a farm cos the latest info from the organiser is that the premises where the talk/seminar is held can accomodate 200 people.
