Hi Bro Fireblade, would you say this grow took at least 3 months onwards?
I'm having trouble carpetting mine, despite using the Green Element EVO lighting, CO2 injection and temperature maintained betwee 25-27degrees.

Any idea what went wrong?

I guess I'm possibly not patient enough.
I'm dosing with Potassium daily. SeaChem Flourish and Iron on alternate days.

Thanks for your input! My initial trial with DSM failed after flooding. The whole batch melted. So I replanted with new MC, this time directly into the tank without DSM.

I find that MC is quite an easy plant, no need to use DSM..
I have some floating in my guppy tanks without additional light or fertilizer , it also grow into a big patch.. maybe you need to give them a little more time to grow..

Yeah lor.

Seeing your thick MC patch is very demoralising

Plant more MC to cover your tank floor bro!

Do it bro! MC are really nice carpeting plants.
With this new batch, it's nearing a month.

Since you are having a good experience with MC...
Why don't you do a new scape with MC used purposefully? Since it's just in a corner now.

Anyway, rescaping is good to keep the fire going
