Yes they do help me set up the pipes connecting main tank to sump tank. Sorry I think my question too general.

I mean how much and what type of media do I need to purchase.
Also the type of pump (how powerful) which suit my tank.

My sump tank is only 3ft with 4 compartment only.

Think budget no issue, can get Ehiem 1264 or Sicce 50 ($248 from Polymart)
If budget concern, can get Rio32F...think around $170

For me , since is budget type...
1st compartment :
Top layer : White wool
Middle layer : Japanese matt
Bottom layer : Glass ring

2nd compartment :
All Glass ring

3rd compartment :
Top : Oyster shell
Bottom : Glass ring

That time I bought one big pack fo glass ring direct from Y618 for $70...can't remember the weight...25kg??? Can call them to ask the standard big pack price and weight.

Your pump depends on the size of your tank, maybe a 1264 will suits you. Since your tank is 5ft, why not consider upgrade your sump tank size from 3 to 4ft?

Do search through the forum to see how bros here put their medias, different people all different combo. No right or wrong. Your tank maker can also advise you on the medias and pump.

For pump you can get Atman 107, less than $50 can get. Mine tank is almost the size of yours and it works well.
