About chillers...

I am thinking of getting a chiller for my tank...

I don't have good knowledge in this area. Hence, I will like to find out from bros here on the brands of chillers (good ones of cos) that are available in the market. Also, the prices and their power consumption etc. Can any bros advise me on that?

Any recommendations? Or feedbacks on the current chiller you own?

yes. This has always been a hot topic. Perhaps you tell us your tank size, your desired temperature and most importantly...Your budget.

I forgot abt that... basically I going to set up a new 4 ft tank (current 1 is 3 ft) So let's keep the discussion within 3 - 4 ft tanks. As for my budget, I don't restrict myself to any budget at the moment as I want to find out more the most economic and efficient chillers around... I will only decide upon hearing from bros here.

Temp for my current 3 ft tank - 26.5 to 29.0 deg (with only 1 fan)
Desired temp - below 26 deg (ard 25 is good enough)


P.S: Humvee thx for your reply. I have had read abt the other threads regarding chillers... but most of them are restricted to just mainly 1 brand chiller in each of them (e.g CL 450) ... so i hope to consolidate lots of different brands/models of chillers here...easy reference mah
