Get at least a Hi-blow 20 if u intend to supple all 3 big tanks. Hi-blows are silent and reliable. I'm a sucker for more sand, especially since your tank is 2ft high. But as a guide, try not to exceed 7cm high sand or you will invite bad bacterias deep down. Finally...as for plants wise, it is not advisable for tanganyikan tanks due to few reason.... 1. Some tanganyikans like to uproot plants; 2. Some vegetarian tangs like to eat plants; 3. Most plants will not thrive in highly alkaline water conditions required by tangs except few; 4. Etc. Do keep us updated! |

The way i decorate my stone is find those flat surface one as the base and some of the stone modified by the ex-owner. He used silicone to joint up 2 stone to create like a base. So it will help to stable the stone and more easy for me to decorate. About the cave i worry that also, maybe in future this case happen. Will need to redecorate all the stone to create a cave for them. Yaya, plan to get Hi-blow. But heard from fren, saying medo not bad too. And his colleague had used this for over 8 years. So, still thinking of it. For noise wise, not so worry as all my tanks not place in the house. Ok, Noted. Will try not to get the thickness of the sand more than 7cm. Still searching what kind of plant suit for the theme of this tank, may not be alot. Most likely 2 to 3 plant, and found few types of plant suitable in high pH environment. For this tank, more likely will just intro altus series tagans only. Hope all of them not vegetarian. |

Little Update to my Tagans Tank.
New Members intro to tank 1. Neolamprologus caudopunctatus 2. Cyprichromis leptosoma "utinta" Going to rearrange the stone position, as this current setup allow Frontosa hide somewhere between the stone. Make me can't enjoy them, only appear when meal time |

Yes, there is few in the last pic but i believe is it not tretocephalus. Bought from the lfs, those cheapest one. So i believe it is fronts. This is my previous setup, yesterday just reset my stone layout. Hope it won't make them hide so much Quote:

Just whether you want or not lo. If you really step into this graveyard, no matter how you will adjust or give yourself an excuse to do 1 tank I believe mine is just Fronts. As i counted they are 6 stripes. |
