Default Encouraging bigger bubbles from air discs

Hi,

After doing some research on arofanatics I've sprung for a Hiblow Baby and two "made in korea" AngelAqua air discs for my 5 x 2 x 2.

The problem I am having now is that the air discs produce really tiny bubbles that gets blown around the tank by the IOS output, no matter where I place them.

Hope sifus here advice what I can do to get rid of these microbubbles.

Thank you

Also, will the microbubbles harm the fish in the tank?

Hmm... I thought I've read somewhere, the slower the bubbles surfaces up, the better? Hence smaller bubbles are preferred?

yeah I think smaller bubbles are better for aeration too. It doesn't look nice though, the huge number of tiny bubbles make the water look cloudy

Bro, from time to time after we, I find such tiny bubbles in the tank.

No impact to my aro & oscar.

In no time, these bubbles disappear

small bubbles are more efficient in transferring oxygen into the water but they do make the water look "cloudy".

fine bubbles air diffusors are more expensive compared to the big bubbles ones.

u may want to change the air stones if your prefer bigger bubbles.
