Default Anyone using Aqua Empire 3D rock background?

Hi, is anyone in this forum using the 3D rock background that Aqua Empire at pasir ris is selling? If you're using, did you have any problems cutting the background to your tank's size? Did you guys use silicone to stick the background to the tank as told by the shop?

I'm tempted to get it but I'm just worried that it would be difficult cutting and pasting it in the tank.

Kindly advise.

Thanks.

Can don't use silicon, just cut slightly bigger than your tank's width and carefully (at your own discretion) put it into place.

Hi,I am using the 3D tree root background from AE,no problem cutting to tank's size, used the "saw cutter" provided by AE.Tank size 422.
If you have a center bracing, then you would have to cut the foam into 2 pcs after shaping the height.

Im using 3D background from aqua empire. U can see from my ebh vids. They do give me a saw but its too small. I cut them using stanley saw bought from hardware shop. Boy it took me an hour to trim the side and top.

Anyway have problem with the hollow part behind the background esp the protruding tree trunk design? I find the design not practical ... water behind might breed mosquito. also if feeder fish might get into there too. That deter me from doing up the background

Yes the hollow part will cause stagnant water and possibilty of mosquito breeding. Having feeder guppy trapped there might be a good idea. I lost a couple of corry when i have a background.
