Okay maybe I should only say spawning them is easy. Hahaha. Raising them.... I think I'll leave the parents to raise them up. The fries scattered all over the tank, doubt I'll be able to catch them out. What do you feed them with anyway?

bbs first , then flake and crushed pellets

When I used to breed them, I found the easiest way to feed them was with decap bs eggs.

Whats after decapped BSE?
My fries grew bigger ler but still too small for pellets.
Im still feeding them with boon & decap BSE.

Do you remove the fries from the parents? Or do you leave them as it is?

Usually leave for 2 weeks then remove. However, if the male starts harassing the female then I remove immediately

update on a slightly more than 1 month old fry.



still very small. around 1cm max. I fed frozen bbs and hikari first bites. Followed illumnae's advice of adding java moss... they do peck a bit here and there so I guess there is some food in there. Throw a bit of NLS 0.5mm but don't know if they eat.
