Default Wild caught Cockroach for arowanas?

lately I've been seeing lots of cockroaches near my arowana pond.
I'm tempted to set a trap and use them to feed my arowanas as treats .
Our grava tree is producing lots of fruits and these drop to the ground, I'm seeing some cockcroaches eating the Guavas.
If i were to set a trap , how would i know if they are safe to feed to my fish?
we have not sprayed insecticide in our house lately.
should i keep them for a while?

you never know where had the trapped cockroaches been to.
maybe stained with pesticide from the neighborhood?

The issue is we are not sure what is stained onto the cockroach, so we can't know if it is safe for the fish to eat them.
what don't kill the cockroach might kill the arowana. Cockroaches are definitely much hardier than arowana. they had survived on Earth for a long long time.

Bro, why take the risk.

you will never know where the cockroach in question last visited or encountered
