Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: GREENWATER
yo bro xerovix, do you mean a few pages back in this thread, or a few previous threads (different threads altogether?)? r u referring to the post below, where u suggested the ceramic and glass to increase the tub's fish capacity?
sorry so blur....i don't always read everything here, once in a while come in read the few recent threads only...so those older posts escape me....heheh Quote:

ok.
how come the capacity of fish can be increased by using the bb media though? i guess in a way, since bb and algae populations correlate inversely, introducing bb will limit algae, so less of an oxygen problem at night. is that what you meant? Quote:

bro laser suggested that 100L per fish, so bro xerovix counter propose something like sinster glass or ceramic rings to increase the fish load. Now ... let's argue on this points ... 1. Does green water alone has by-product ? How ? 2. What are the problems with lesser water vol per fish ? Why ? 3. How a mix of filtration media and green water can increase fish load ? |

1. Does green water alone has by-product ? How ?
Dunno the precise workings, but two known byproducts are oxygen (daytime) and carbon dioxide (all the time). 2. What are the problems with lesser water vol per fish ? Why ? For green water I think some bros mentioned that at night the algae deprive water of oxygen so fish may suffocate. 3. How a mix of filtration media and green water can increase fish load ? this one more advanced...let bro xerovix answer |
