Used to put peat moss in my tank.. it will make the water slightly cloudy for a while. Make sure you put it on the first compartment of ur sump tank (if u use sump tank).

Other "artificial" method.. seachem discuss buffer, seachem acid buffer. Just make sure you put in small dose so that the ph drop is not too sudden.

Happy trying bro

Wouldn't wood stain the water?

7.4 is fine for rays.. I kept them in 8 before too.. once bioload is high the ph will drop by itself naturally..

I agree with bro azon....7.4 is ok. When bioload get high u will have problem keeping the PH up. If rays are eating and swimming around dont see a need to specially drop your ph.

Cheers

PH 7.4 is fine. As long as the rays are eating well, leave it.

Leave the pH alone. Will drop over time. After that the problem will be how to get pH up. Trust me. I know the feeling.
