Food to feed your Betta before you go overseas.
Hi there guys! As per said on the subject, what food do you feed your Betta before you go overseas? Certain questions running through my head are:
1. Is it alright to don't feed them if you're going on short 3d2n trip? 2. If you were to go for more than a week, what are the measures would you take to feed your Betta? Your advices is greatly appreciated (: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

personal view. dont put live food in, as it might pollute the water.
i would prefer to feed some pellets before you leave. for 2-3 days there is no worries that they skip their food for the few days. |

Agree with jiabin now as I remember I throw in 1 packet of tubi for my fry tank when I went overseas.then when I comeback there's a layer of oil on the surface of e tank only 8 out of 20+++ survived.

bro is it not advisable by bro jiabin and rutilans here. Do you encounter any setbacks using live boon or tubi? Quote:

Boon make sure you drain the water and just only add the BOON. they will stay alive for at least 2-3 days For me before i go overseas i'll just do a major water change and buy a 2$ worth of boon and dump it in. can last up to 3-5 days( Depending on quantity of your boon). and my water parameters are still good. 100+fries all alive and swimming. |

bro Rutilians making it sound Horrifying cause he throw big pack of tubi. (DON'T EVER DO THIS) for individual bettas i believe a good pinch of it will last them 2-3days. i am pretty sure water wont be affected much. boon will be your best option next to feeding pallet food with a timer. |
