The larvae are in TS's sump tank compartment or main tank?

Hi thanks for all the inputs. I have added in guppies but it seems they are growing at an extremely fast pace and I need to kill it manually on a day to day basis.
They are growing out in my sump tank but I also can see them in the main tank IOS compartment. Before I add in guppies, the larvae are inside my main tank as well... This is real headache.. This is how these mozzie look like |

Definitely a midge and not mosquito. Identical to the redworms you see the lfs.
I used to have it when I was keeping aros. I put a white wool at the outlet. The midges all get caught in the white wool. Without them, they can't lay eggs. |
