redcross Red worms and unidentified "bugs" found on my filter wool

As mentioned, while doing WC today, I saw some red worms, and some "bug" which I don't know what it is, pls refer to the picture attached.

Anyone can enlighten me what's happening? Why does these appear on my filter wool? Have never experienced things like this before..

What should I do?

No I did not. But when I bought my peacocks, the previous owner fed them sw, and also there was one pcs of the sw skin that was accidentally in the bag and went into my internal overflow and never seem to came out.

Are these sw babies?

Since SW is not Ur fishes staple diet, think just increase the wool change frequency for a few rounds should solve the problem

Alright noted. Do I need to clear up my bio balls in my internal overflow and rash them troughlly? I've never washed them before an as mentioned one piece of the SW skin was trapped in there

Not advisable to wash thoroughly Ur media. U can rinse with the tank water by batches so as not to upset Ur bio system

I mean the bio balls in the overflow compartment, I won't be touching my medias.

Why does these appear on my filter wool? Because of the SW skin? What are those in the first place?
