Default Please advice : Clown Loach

3 weeks ago, i bought a 10 inch Clown Loach. And i have put it in my arowana tank together with 2 Tin Foil barbs and 3 parrot fish.

My intention is to slowly 1 by 1 replace all my arrowana tank mates with Clown Loaches.

I had tried to feed my Clown Loach with Sinking wafers and fruit like Cucumber. But it never take a single bite.

All the while, my clown loach is hidding in the corner and seldom swim around.

Is my Clown Loach stress out?

Fellow Senior, please advise.

I think clown loach will fare better in groups.

Maybe you might want to try adding more clown loaches in to form a mini school.

Don't think 4 is a large enough group; People recommend 6.

Think you should just go and buy 5 more instead - Clown Loaches aren't going to produce too much waste if you're worrying about overcrowding?

CLs thrive in large groups so the more the merrier for them. Also keep your water warm as they are very susceptible to white spots once the temp drops.
