Leakage of Electricity Around the Tank
hi bros and sis,
have u ppl ever come across any leakage of electricity around your fish tank ?? like using a test pen and place it at the rim of yr tank and the testpen will light up ? recently, i had this experience ... well, actually i had a previous leakage experience where my PH wire has a slight opening, hence the leakage of electric. even the water oso have electric current ... obviously, the whole house got tripped ... and it's a major 1 cos even main switch outside my house oso tripped. i'm still using those normal pump, lights etc with only 2 wire / plucks ... no earth wiring. tested the rim and there's still a slight of leakage but not to the extend of 'biting' feeling yet. is this the cause of it ? if so, how do i prevent from future trip ? currently have 2 x 2 PH with 2800l/h(1 for OHF and 1 for skimmer), 1 PH with 800l/h (for flow), 1 x 2 2" PL lights (white and blue), 1 x T4 light (oso white and blue) 2 x 4" cooling fan. thanks in advance. |

You can try to ask around from the forum, There are Bro there who willing to DIY for you, just pay them the cost price of the Equipment + Kopi..

Help!! My tank also has electric leakage. Wow! I put my hands in the tank and was shock man, the electric current looks so strong, my hands were numb. Hmm currently all my powerhead is using a two pin plug, and I put into the plug by a plastic (those plastic that helps to plug in two pin plug). Is it true that if I change the plastic to a 3 pin plug with earth and plug the two pin plug on top of the 3 pin, it will help? (The 3 pin plug can plug in both two pin round/flat type)
