Suddenly our block RC came visiting during Fri night last week. We were in and they just slipped in a paper claiming while they were visiting we were not around. Asking if there is any feedback drop it at their RC unit....

My unit kena blacklisted and dun want to visit, scare kena bombard is it?

'Visited' how many units.... and how many not in... even if you are in, they probably just walk around 'throwing flyers'.

my area just last month also got MP visit....unit by unit leh.

before they come to your unit, those runner will come knock your door and say MP coming lah, ask we all standby our front door and wait....standby for camera also....I then tiew ni ah ma

wanted to close the door, but wife scare this n that loh....bring my kids stand outside our unit n wait

They are ELECTED and not some Royals or some esteem people. Since they are ELECTED TO SERVE, why do we need to stand at our door to welcome them?

Just like at some dinners, where these whatever are GOH, the attendees of the dinner need to stand and applaud.

Comparing to another dinner, LTK was the GOH. He came mid way (as it was his MPS day). He told the ushers not to inform, he quietly walk to his table, but mid way through ppl already realised he was there. He stayed throughout the dinner, and was the last table to leave! No airs, no pretence, no nonsense, no ppl carrying his bola.

Go approach him for photo, he gladly oblige. Offer him a glass of beer, he will drink (maybe half, maybe whole), etc. Completely no airs.

Me too met mr ltk on several occasions during those dinners raising funds thing.

Polite, no airs, no dogs nothing.

easy & pretty approachable

stayed through the entire thing.

My table was just next to his.
