Hi, not sure about other types of gold fishes, but I keep 8 to 10cm wakins with 40 to 50cm kois since 2 years ago without any problem.
In fact my wakins to love to follow the kois around... maybe they think that the kois are their mommies/daddies Wakins swim fast so can feed competitively, whereas other types of goldfishes eg orandas, may not be able to mix well with kois. |

Yes u can mix certain gf with kois. Gf such as comets or wakins could be mix with kois.
Even some gfs of different specie cannot be mix together. Eg if u mix comets with orandas, it is likely that ur oranda would be killed by the comets. Especially if the comets are in large school, they would attack the slow and fat oranda or similar type of gfs. |
