thanks. filtration was upgraded constantly as the rays grew bigger n ate more n more... their shit is crazy huge lol. started off with the standard sump ... then kept upgrading media.. then when i wasnt satisfied with the flow rate i redid the piping and added an extra pump....then added a canister...then another canister with 25 micron catridges (overkill but yea lol).. then recently added ohf. flowrate is over 20000L/h after giving allowance for max head height reductions... a lot of ppl say i'm crazy

Wah 3x daily heavy feeding for these monsters is really no joke thumbsup for your powerful filteration But imo u can cut down on the feeding to once or twice daily as your fishes are all big enough btw what's your WC regime ?

the way they eat every meal like kena starve so i just stick to the routine. maybe coz used to eating so much since young ba. i did change a larger % of their diet to pellets though. used to do 30-60% wc every 2 days, nowadays cut down to 50% every 3 days. wc is to keep nitrates in check.. no choice.

sounds overkill but in reality it's really needed coz i'm the type that doesnt even want any detectable ammonia/nitrite right after feedings. the 25 micron catridges i do agree it's overkill though hehe.
