Not challenging actually, you need sensors/transducer that can convert parameters to open and short circuit. Then feed these wirelessly or wired to the console.

I think it will get too complicated to add backup device, which in some casing, will need 2 set of the device like 2 aircon and such....

But I think connect this system to UPS so that when UPS is activated, it will send a SMS. This is what I am going to do next. Wet battery + relays + coils + DC-ac convertor = UPS.

Ya, if there is a problem get it attended immediately and likely no damaged is done. Like if a power trip, canister filter not working, you get informed, and turn it on within hours or so, not much damage to the bacteria will be done.. if you discovered only when you come back from your trip, it will be too late..

The console has backup battery, it send out sms even the whole house power trip.

No need too much spare cash, the console cost less then 2 kk price or less then 1 blue bolt.... I think it worth the investment, as I heard 2 occassions of shrimp keep came home and discovered they have power trip and the whole tanks were ruin.
