kamihata PBB
Was talking to my girlfriend about my upper jaw bichirs and how much I like some of those pieces. Then we slowly chat about the kamihata polypterus bichir bichir, decided to take a good look at it only to find it no where in my tank. At once I knew it was gone.
Saw it behind my cabinet. Dried up. Stuck on some cables. As I pulled it out, some maggots spilled out. Seems like it was missing for a few days and I failed to notice. Lesson learnt for not covering the tank all the time. Sometimes after feeding, I do not cover immediately. But the lesson cost me a leg and arm. My bad mistake.. |

As a relatively new hobbyist starting out his collection, this loss is a bit painful on the wallet too
