Happened to one of mine before. I understand that kinda feeling. Just try to get it over with and start afresh.

Default take it easy

Hello LSZ

Sorry to hear that. I have 1 similar experience. I put in my aro into a bigger tank in the morning. I came back from work in the night, I saw the fin was almost gone and the poor fish was swimming abnormally. I guess the water contained harmful bacteria, I should apply salt, medication and get the heater ready.

Default Did you sterilize your tank?

It seems awefully quick of you to replace your rtg, just wondering if you managed to sterilize that tank first?

I've learned that even if you leave the tank empty for a month, then introduce another aro, the bacteria somehow survives and infects the next aro. The best thing is to really sterilize it completely. Anyway, good luck on your new rtg.
