sorry for delayed replay. I was too overcome to post the story here, I will now but I'll keep it short.

basically, something happened, and his head started to stick out the side. Now I dunno if he broke or crushed a vertebrae turning sideways real fast and smashing his face into the glass, or if it was a natural deformation due to genetics, or perhaps to fast of growth or maybe nutritional deficiency's, I dunno...
what I do know is his head started stickin out sideways and he stopped eating and was in obvious distress.
only thing I could find wrong with water/setup was ph was abnormally low.
I added coral chips to filter, and ph stabalised around 7.
next few days he still didnt do well so I assumed he may be suffering some form of ph shock as the water tested fine.
regular water changes, around 30% every two days for a while, but no change in condition I think, well maybe that is whats stressing him out so I dont do water changes.
various ailments begin to plague him, and he is rubbing off color smashing around the tank every now and then.
dunno what to do, consult some ppl privately but no one has solution, then one day he starts to dart around tank, and end up upsidown in the corner.
some of you may remember the long painfull process I experienced with my RTG and I vow not to let me or another fish go through that.
I pick him out of tank, no struggle. so I bag him, put in bucket and add ice
I think he died before the ice could even take effect.
was very painfull to have to do, and I dunno, but I think the time is not right for me to have aro and maybe fate is telling me to get my priorities right.
so for meantime I gotta pay of student loan, get a car and some other things in order, I have no plans of getting another aro in the near future.. (that hurts as much as losing one)
anyways take care all, everyone here has been a great bunch, and I will still lurk.. however I find even the galleries painfull to look at now so I dunno
