Default Wolf fish Community Tank

After doing my own research regarding wolf fish, I have finally setup my first wolf fish community tank. I currently have two Malas (4" & 6") and three 6" black wolf (Hoplias Curupira). I have placed quite a number of hollow drift wood in my tank to provide hiding and cover for the wolves. The first few days were nightmare as the wolves fought one another as expected and I have to allow that so that the leader emerged and the fighting eventually got lesser and what was left was just some occasional chasing by the leader wolf. They now live pretty "peaceful" together I might say. Lesson learnt here is that you need to provide enough hiding places for them also be mentally prepared to see broken fins and missing body scales. Having a wolf community tank is very interesting as you will see the leader wolf doing his patrol and the wolves move around and more active. Guess who is leader wolf ? I will be collecting my first Aimara tomorrow and will introduce it to the tank to see how things go and keep my fingers crossed as I know the Aimara is the most aggressive among all wolf fish. I will update in this post once I get my Aimara tomorrow.

How big is your tank bro?

Interesting to see more than one Curupira in a tank. From what I read, they are hardest to comm with own species.

I am having a mix of Mala, Intermedius, Curupira and Aimara with other monster fishes at the moment. Growing out a gold wolf to join the team (hopefully in a few months time).
