Assassin snail helps a lot. I have seven, they don't seem to multiply (yet). All the pest snails are all gone, haven't seen one for the past week. Perhaps you can try, got my assassin snails from c328 at one dollar per piece.

Yup assassin snails are very good for dealing with pest snails. Just be careful over time they can start to multiply themselves too

Aunty knows it when you mention assassin snail, if not uncle also know. They are placed on the left handside by the counter, right by the chiller with shrimps and parrot fish. Till date I have not seen anything more than the seven pieces that I have bought for pest control. Shall take out (cull) a few pieces in due date...

I usually tell auntie i want the "Snail that eats snails" and she will understand. I see them every now and then, but there isn't a regular daily supply of them.

Yup that's exactly what I tell auntie hahaha
I think if you don't overfeed the population will be fine. Previously I had a tank where the population exploded and I found them everywhere, including inside my canister filters. However, that tank was pretty overfed. |
