The eye, one is parallel and the other is slanted.

The eyes of the first piece is larger....do not look like a Ranchu fries. 2nd piece is definitely a Ranchu fries. Maybe i am wrong....i am not an expert.

Bingo.....
Top picture is a top view butterfly goldfish fries while bottom is a top view ranchu fries. I hope everyone enjoy goldfish keeping and have a good laugh. |

Bro Chris....Post # 64...those fries are butterfly fries...eyes not like ranchu fries...also on the back of the fries like got some strange markings...is it internal markings like the "stomach"? Dorsal fin at what age start appearing on the fries? Please enlighten and thanks for the education.
