New Hobby, New start and new beginning
Hi all,
I will be recording down my Aro keep journey to keep track of my progress. This is the brief history about myself, started keeping Aro in yr 2000, keep Green, TKL then chilli red and follow by VFSR. End my hobby in 2006, when my 3yr VFSR passed away at the same time I got into a accident. According to the old saying the Aro has helped me block away the Sa Qi(harmful element). Decided to change hobby as a free marine tank is given to me. Starting reefing for a good 6-7 years before I feel that, everything have to come to a end. I will say the hobby committee played a important role in getting people to stay in the hobby, one of the way is forum. The people in the forum changed every now and then, old bird left and new people come in. The culture will change also, dun really like the current culture of people coming into reefing with a intention to profit. Haha I am still a fish person so a lot of fishes come into my mind, tetra, angel, small fish, luo han, ray and Aro, finally I still prefer big fishes so Aro and tank mate is my final choice. Ok now for the new tank, it will be a 6x2.5x2.5ft tank with 5x2x1.5ft sump. I have added a feature in the overflow so that I can adjust the water height to around 1 ft for optimum WTT, when the Aro grown up will slowly increase the height of water lvl till max. Oh ya missed out the most important part, will be keep a comm of XB. |

Past few weeks went to a few farms and lfs and finally decided on LUCKY FARM
The pushing factors that tell me to go and get from this farm are 1) very good customer service, asking them questions is reply promptly and detailed answer, sometime with pictures. 2) confident of their XB quality, not afraid of competition, when I mentioned I will like to view XB from others farms and cannot commit immediately, they actually encourage me to go and take a look so that I can make better decision. 3) the young XB never go through tanning but under natural light, to show the most natural colour and shine. The XB is kept in a white FGT with only natural lighting from the sun. 4) picture from seller that sell the XB from this farm is very nice, mostly full crossing and golden head. 5) lastly the quality of the XB is good, even to newbie like me. |
