ph burn
Hi all, just washed my medias and cleared my sump.after a few hours added a parrot fish to test the water.turn out got burns on fin and body .its an old sump tank cleared for new fishes.tks.

Yes.no wc only wash sump and media.

If doing 1 compartment at a time will reduce the chances of PH spike. ..

Use ph down, or use coral chips to maintain neutral ph.
