Nice setup, lucky for you the shrimplets doesn't become the fish meal. For mine they disappear very fast.. The shrimp like to hide in gap and holes so it is advisable to use sponge or those stainless steel net inlet and do away with the skimmer .

I think as long as there are some bushy plants that the fish do not explore, the shrimplets stand a chance.
