Default swallow blue tuxedo

hi bros and sis,

just wan to noe if its possible to get swallow tail blue tuxedo from a spawn of regular blue tuxedo?

the reason why i ask this is becus i noticed 2 pcs of my male blue tuxedo seem to develope swallow tail, which im puzzled as the parents are normal tail and most/almost all the siblings all normal tail

Bro, regarding this issue, you need to ask angelo whether the blue tuxedo you gotten from him have swallow genes.If there is no swallow genes, it means that the tails are torn.Anyway, from what i know swallow genes causes extend of finnages from normal delta shape caudal tail.

thanks bro.. the tails are in perfect condition, juz lyk a normal HB.. its just that the anal fins started to grow longer juz lyk a swallow tail for the 2 males i saw

Anal Fin is breeding organ for males right? If extended then is call ribbon.

ah... you ar correct.. its call ribbon.. gt the wrong name.. my bad..
anyway i just find it special to find 2 unique males from the few batches tt i have so far

There may be ribbon genes in your strain based on your description.

We do not observe any ribbon or swallow from any of our tuxedo or half black lines. I am searching for good lines currently.

Gereld, any of the females with ribbon fin?

hi angelo, im quite suprised to see ribbon development on the male also.. it shld be frm my 2nd batch.. same daddy and mommy used..

i didnt reali notice the females as they ar transferred to my fgt. will do some sorting and culling tis fews days and will transfer some females up to glass tank to view..
