Tank was fine after transport and I did took a photo of it to show the seller that tank got to my place in proper condition. No visible crack lines or scratches at all.

Ya I know no joke. But as it is very difficult to move the tank in place, I sure do hope I do not nave to spend again to dispose off a relatively good tank...

I have checked the level guage and the tank is totally straight within range, as it was rested on the floor, not on stands...

Crack above the center bracing 1

2nd center bracing

Left corner of tank

Right corner of tank

Can see tank is levelled...

Not sure what could have caused such a big crack line though... first time encounter. Defiantely not an impact crack as did not touch the tank since yesterday til filling it up with water...

for peace of mind, I suggest you get a new one as tank itself is not expensive. the expensive part is the stand or the cabinet.

I believe most tank makers don't supply empty tanks leh...

Also shifting of the tanks is gonna cost a bomb cos this tank is a 7 footer...

looks bad.. will suggest u get a new bare tank instead.. at least it's safer.. Most Tankmakers do make juz bare tank alone.. and i believe with this issue, maybe due to quality of tank or due to mishandling during transportation, the tankmaker will likely be willing to make a new tank for u (cost wise will depend on ur bargaining skills)

sorry to see this happened bro, I believe the tank most probably needs to be replace with new one to avoid similar incident happen again.

I suggest next round you may place thicker styrofoam under ur 7ft tank to minimise the risk of uneven ground level.

Meanwhile, let me know if you need space to house ur monster fish...

not true. tank makers do sell just the bear tank.
thou it may cost you more but at least you can sleep well and not worrying the tank burst on you. its no joke flooding the whole house with up to a ton of water.
and I have experience it myself.......
almost 1/2 of my house furniture and furnishing need to be replaced.........

Change the tank. Replacing the front glass is not a good idea.
