Hack wall can, as long as approved by HDB. Concealed wiring by breaking the concrete is not allowed, but some "conceal" by using partition board to make a false wall so its hidden.

I have actually seen many people have concealed wiring in their HDB flats. I mean the older flats. It looks so good! But I personally don't dare to do cause if HDB ask you to redo, too troublesome liao.

if it is hacking brick wall its ok. My seller shift the power point to brick wall area to conceal the wiring as much as to his liking.

It’s a matter of structural wall vs non load bearing wall. Non load bearing can hack all you want. Hard for layman to differentiate. Better to get professional help to avoid future trouble.

Condo can conceal wire without any restriction.

actually just build a cornice or L box to hide the wiring would be easier, wouldn't it

i mean, if wiring, in future, has any problem, at least cornice or L box plaster is much easier to remove and re-patch back
