Electric Blue Ram spawn
Got this pair last weekend.
With much luck, they bred the following Monday, eggs were found in the morning. Frys are now free swimming, 5 days later. Saturday Monday morning Wednesday, wriggles shifted to a different location Friday late night, again moved to another location

Frys all disappeared after a week.
Notice that they were busy clearing another spot last night. This time round, separated the inkas. The pair bred again this morning .... Round#2 but not in time to replace the sponge on the filter inlet. Current sponge is the coarse type, frys could get stuck. Male guarding over eggs Female, just hanging around. But she is the fierce one, will attack any intruder, including hands. |

Beautiful!
Exactly the same thing I'm about to do. Got a pair of electric blue rams in my 3feet and planning to buy a pair of inka50 or borelli opal tomorrow How big is your pair? Mine's probably still too small, female keeps running away when the male chases & flares I tested my water parameters pH- 6.5 gH- 5 Ammonia - 0 Nitrite - 0 Nitrate - 0 kH - 1 Really soft water, trying to coax them into breeding. feeding fried blackworms and hikari cichlid gold. |
