As for me house in fibre glass tanks cause Ranchu appreciation is on the way these graceful fishes swim...... Glass tanks also can...Up to individualism point of view. How many ranchus you have? Where did you get yours from?

cos i am a Luohan freak, just starting to have a liking for ranchu and i am reading up on them.
cos i see from websites that Japanese display their ranchus in bare basins and i am curious. so finding the best way to house them and appreciate them.
i am currently looking around for good quality ranchus.
not looking for japanese ones cos they are way beyond my budjet. maybe getting Thai ones.
any recommendations on where to find nice thai Ranchus?

Yah man... old thread but very interesting info. Read till my eyes almost popped for the past few nites and still not finished.

Got this question on Green Water, is there any other alternative to grooming or maintaining the lustre of a GF?

Jus speaking aloud my tots. Would a clear water tank, with good water condition and Good food given yield the same result?
