Default melafix

Does it has any scientific support on its efficacy?

To me, it's like the human version of axe oil.... 风油
You wouldn't considered it a drug, more like a supplement

I don't really use melafix unless I want to see my fish go heaven faster. Been tried on three different sick fish, all went heaven within 24hrs

There is this issue with Melafix and pimafix regarding oxygen level.

I have a feeling the melafix affects the gills and suffocates although many claim it is due to the oil film blocking air exchange on the water surface.

I tried it on nano fish (Pencilfish) once, immediate death. The tank had an overflow so no oil film.
