Default what angel is my angel?

bros, I got this guy from the LFS because he wouldn't get out of my heart and mind when I saw it. First time bought a $35 angel fish. had to buy his girlfriend as well, which is not so special.

anyway, can anyone tell me what angel it is? I did some internet research but couldn't find an answer.

Really majestic guy.

The spots on it's body and tail suggest it is a leopard angelfish. It's genetics is either two doses of smokey gene and two doses of zebra genes (Sm/Sm Z/Z) or two doses of smokey gene and one dose of zebra gene (Sm/Sm Z/+). A beauty indeed.

No problem bro. Due to the interest in angelfish, breeders have done selective breeding to obtain various strains from wild P. Scalare. Though there are many angelfish strains, I think guppies got much more! Did u get yourself a pair?

Smokey gene has blue and green colours. So some did selecting breeding resulting leopard angelfish having a greenish hue on it's body and face - also known as green leopard angelfish.

It does look like a she This should be a gold marble angelfish. As it has extensive coverage of black patches, it should hv 2 doses of marble gene. It's genetics shd be (Gm/Gm). Do u intend to breed them if they pair off or already a pair?

Hmm...your smokey is definitely a male becos of its prominent hump n the head...as for its GF...it does look like a female (firstly has that woman look and secondly also the hump is totally missing) but I am just wondering about the sharp little protrusion from the anus part...it seems like sharp pointed like a male...is that a protrusion or is it something behind in the picture.

May I know which LFS you bought it from? Is it somewhere in the east??
