Resistance as in they will not fall sick so easily cos the conditions in the wild is much more stressful than in your tank.

Fantastic setup, but u might have to turn off the OHF when feeding bbs. Do you feed BH to these Wild Discus?

thanks bro, the pair is on the outflow side, so should be ok to feed the bbs, the flow have been adjusted down, so it'll just help spread the bbs in the water column, hopefully....

only a bit in the beginning, is it better to feed or not to?

anyway, an update video taken last night, the parents shifting the fries from one place to another:

you can try feeding BBS to the fries after 5 days when they attached to the parent body.. wild discus have sufficient slime for fries cos in the wild nobody feed them BBS.. btw don't need to feed the parent too..

their colours change very fast! sometimes light sometimes dark... u like dark dark type?

anyway, i'm not certain this batch will make it, saw some dead wrigglers this morning, the parents are still picking them up and spitting them back onto the patch, but even the live ones don't seem to be wriggling as much as I think they should...

looks weak to me... and noticed earlier that the eggs are also looking smaller than what i think they should be...

shall see tonight - they should be either free swimming, or flown to heaven..
