Usually I observed the pair will busy looking after the eggs.
You can try to feed a bit of FBW and see whether the pair feed on it.
Important is to keep water clean.
Leave a small light on over the night.
If you have meth. blue, add to prevent fungus on the eggs.
It will take 2-3 days.
Maybe expert can advise further.

Eggs should turn little blackish which means the fry is developing in the egg. White means unfertilised or fungused.

Hmmm...you should try to check which is the one that laid eggs...then next round see if is it the other one that laid eggs..I only know I confirm it thru this way..it happened to me long time ago.

2 scenarios i can think of.

1. male is too young. i had a pair that took a year to succeed in breeding.
2. 2 les. one bro mentioned checking which fish laid the eggs, that's one way. 2nd is to see the sexual tubes that protrude out near where waste comes out from. females have a rectangle shape, males have a sharp point end. this is much tougher.

hope that helps

Besides what other bros mentioned. If confirm is a pair. Check for your tank setup. Try to use sponge filter for breeding. The tiles don't set next to filternation with strong current.
Hope it helps.
