i find all dried food more or less the same... so i would just buy the one that offers the best value (i.e. big bag, low price). i only feed dried food when i have no time to feed live food.

same here...i oso feed dried food and at times FBW. For me, i feeding a mix of 2 diets; hikari hi-growth and yek Fong Natural Red (shanda company). Weekly, i treat the fishes with either FBW or freeze dried brine shrimps

Bro Harnsheng,

Thank you for yr feedback. Your guppies sure very "hao Min" getting different types of food. Human Babies only drnk milk for their first few mths
Personally i avoid flakes, I do nnot know why but it gives ame a feeling that it is oily and slimly.

Just my very personal point of view.

cheers

Yeap they are very very hao min.. LOL

I actually love flakes food, especially from Tetra as you can really see the fishes eating it and get full. Pellets wise, it's will usually bite/nibble/spit and eat.. kinda messy and sometimes, ignored.

Another flakes food that i recommend and tested myself were from Ocean Nutrition. I've tested the spirulina flakes and man, the flakes smells good and real crispy!!

I've never experienced oily flakes with all these good brands.. cant go wrong with it, except for the china brand packed in plastic bags.. thats a crappy flake.

I also wish to feed my fishes variety of flakes but, in comparison with pellets, it's way too expensive (i have too many fishes to feed! )

Anyone tried White Crane brand from Thailand? I just bought a kg of their no. 3 and no. 4 micro pellets and also some vitamin enriched pellets for breeding/conditioning. Quite competitively priced.....

Haven't seen this brand in local LFS yet. I think no local distributor.

Will feedback if this brand is good. Previously, i have used their White Crane medication powder, very good and effective for guppies with shimmering problems.
