LFS & Farms that Carry Quality Goldfish (Discussion)

Rainbow at Blk 151, Serangoon N Ave 2. Has Japanese Ranchus from $160 to $800+.

Pet Mart located right next to Rainbow has limited Ranchus, but Hikari Lionhead is only $7.

Got any LFS to recommend for quality side view ranchu beside rainbow? My budget $200 for each, thanks.

Qian Hu has quite a few big Thai buffalo head ranchus over the week end at $80 and many smal & medium size ones at cheap prices (from $6 onwards)

Don't believe everything that the lfs tells you especially when they say that their ranchus are from Japan. There was a lfs (now no more around) even use the name Japanese and claims that their ranchus are from breeders like Kashino, Kato, etc. but actually from Thailand. Some more people rush to buy like it is free.

$200 each xia.. must be careful o bro.. nowaday a lot of people will claim this claim that can con people.. if you can set aside such high amount of $$ i would suggest you ask for help from some bro here.. they are expert and will ensure you value for $$.. or else you can tie with Local fish farm and ask them to help you keep a look out for show grade fish in oversea and then import them in for you..safer... really looking forward to see your fish in the near future..

For $200/- can get a very good young ranchu. You can try.
1. Aquatic Connection
2. Samgoldfish
3. Fins Palace

Some other bro here can also help out by listing fopr you. You prefer lionhead, goosehead or buffalohead?

How do you tell if a Ranchu is top quality?

Is it:
1) Rounder, shorter body (as oppose to elongated body)
2) Smooth rounded back
3) Big wen on head
