Bro, what u feed your arro? Might be protein from the food that you feed. Previously my tank silicon also have this. Just wash during WC.

It will be fine.

Ammonia is less lethal below ph 7. As your tank is not mature yet it is more prone to ammonia spikes.

Mature tank, ph will be lower due to the bacteria boom. And you need lots of buffer agent like oyster shell, and frequent water change.

Look at your media, when mature, your media should have black spot.

Current tank nitrate at around 40-80 ppm. Is it under safe range for ray?

you can come my place and measure my....
I think should be just less than 200!

but water parameter are affected by many other factors....
Even temperature fluctuation throughout the day matters.

and some of the lesser mentioned parameter is the dissolved oxygen level. In fact I think this is the most important of all.
